  • Description

Despite being referred to as a 'tea', mugicha does not contain any tea leaves. It is instead an infusion of roasted barley that is normally drunk cold in Japan during the warmer summer months, making it a healthier alternative to refreshing soft drinks and other sugary beverages. Mugicha is believed to improve the fluidity of the blood, is caffeine-less and full of nutrients, making it a very popular health drink. This bag contains 32 teabags.

How To Use
Drink this refreshing mugicha barley tea cold:
• Boil a kettle of water before adding 1 tea bag per approx. 1.5 litres.
• Leave to simmer for 3 minutes, then place the kettle in cold water and remove the teabag. Pour into a heatproof container, then leave in the fridge to cool and brew.
• Alternatively, add straight to a container with 1l of cold water and place in the fridge. Remove the tea bag after an hour or once the tea is your preferred strength.
